Did you know DJ Crème loves w33d???

I'm not good at lying. So I'd be lying if I said that that was a cigarette. It's healthy if used responsibly! It's my happy place! Can’t do anything about that !
he was currently spotted in Naivasha crayfish smoking marijuana on stage while mixxing....

Remember The Yunasi Band who sang ndi ndi ndi (Usilewe)?????

YUNASI BAND

Those of you who have no idea who I am taking about the name is Yunasi Band. The Afro-fusion boy band started their career in music almost a decade ago. The band combined different African styles of music such as Benga, Isukuti and Sengato to come up with their own unique style they call Sesube.
The Kenyan boy band has its number of accolades being one of those bands that are largely popular in the international scene than they are locally. In 2007, the Yunasi band won the BBC ‘Next Big Thing’ competition, beating over 2000 acts from 88 countries; quite a milestone for the Kenyan band. Just the year before in 2006, Yunasi band were the winners at the US International Songwriting Contest for the song Ji Opogore (The Difference of People). Back here in Kenya the Yunasi band had their trophy from the 2004 Kisima Awards for the best afro-fusion band.

Unfortunately, the band later split with each of the seven members going after their solo careers but after an absence of over four years from the music scene, the Yunasi band is back with their latest song Sesube which features Rabbit. This is one band promising band you should watch!

Nazizi Makes A come back!!

Nazizi is perhaps the only Kenyan female artiste who dared to be different and found her niche in the music industry.  Lately, the former Necessary Noize member has been the topic of gutter press about her divorce and private life. Well as you already know, 254 Digital is not about that mediocrity! We are here to tell you about her return to the music industry. That’s right, Nazizi is back with a banging new jam called ‘254’.
We spoke to the producer of the song, Mavazi Hand Print’s Ibrahim Alex who told us that the song is all about her celebration of Nairobi which is where she grew up and an appreciation to her fans. He added that this is the first single from the EP titled Evo-Illusion which they have been working on.

Demarco Claims East African DanceHall Artists Have No Fame In Jamaica!!!

Dermaco was in Uganda last week to perform and boy did he unleash some steam. The Jamaican artist is among the many reggae singers known in East Africa. Although his songs have been our club anthems he seems to feel too sure our artists are not doing much. Maybe he did this to help our artists grow, but at the same time it really sounded harsh.
Dermaco said…“When I am here, all I seem to hear is Chameleone… All the (dance-hall) songs you claim to be big are not known in Jamaica and neither the artistes. Local artistes should go to Jamaica and promote their act if they expect to get results,” . So our over hyped dance-hall artists are strangers in Jamaica as he put it.
As we keep hyping this Jamaican songs and forget about our local songs it shows how in-supportive we are. The Jamaican artist even made it worse when he went ahead to say that his collabo with Peter Miles “Blessings” is not even known by anyone from Jamaica. Well, there you have it.

here is Adelle Onyango away from radio waves

Adelle Onyango, the bubbly Radio Presenter, Poet, MC and now Singer released her new single ‘FADED’ this morning. I must admit that it’s a really great song and given that it’s her first one, we got to give her props for nailing it!
I love how catchy the chorus is and the song gets you in a party mode. This will definitely be a club banger sooner than later.

Infact, she went on to invite us to join in her revelry and merry making but I have decided to sit this one out! I asked whether we are seeing her make the switch to being a bad girl and as they say, "When a good girl turns bad, there is no turning her back!". Needless to say, I didn't receive an answer.
But to be honest, this is a very good look for her. Gone are the days when poetry and spoken word pieces were all she was known for, she is now Adelle version 2.0!

Nonini makes a come back though KENYA @50 government still owe them!!!! #LATT

The King of Genge is back. That’s right; Nonini is back with a banging new jam titled ‘Lonely At The Top(L.A.T.T)’ that features The Villagers Band’s lead Singer Chris Adwar.
It’s amazing to see Kenyan artistes pushing themselves harder and delivering impeccable results. This song is perfection itself. A catchy chorus that makes you move to the beat, Nonini’s rapping prowess that never disappoints, a high quality video…I mean what more could we ask for? #LATT

Her is the new Jaguar, the drama king

It seems Jaguar cannot go about his life without inviting some drama. After reportedly turning down an invite to perform at the Kilimanjaro Awards. The singer showed up at Refigah’s. He came in before the bridal party, clad in a white T-shirt and a pair of jeans and in the company of fellow artistes Lugz, Trapee together with a female friend.

However, instead of sitting on the tables reserved for the guest, they went to the high table and sat there. It took the intervention of the event’s organisers to request them to go down and join the other people.

His exit was as dramatic. After giving a spectacular performance, his entourage decided to leave. Once outside, a huge crowd of young fans perhaps eager for his reputed philanthropy mobbed him.

Unfortunately, he had to be quickly whisked away by the security team that had surrounded him and, in two cars, they left with fans running behind his vehicle, a Jaguar.

'LADY GAGA' made in KENYA!!!!!!

Lupita has been donning fabulous gowns in her many red carpet moments; designer gowns that many only dream of wearing.
I love Lupita’s skin tone and she always looks fabulous. However, she took a huge risk at this year’s Met Ball Gala when she decided to wear a not-so-Prada number.
Before we get all judgmental, let’s agree that this is probably her first ever serious fashion fail and she probably deserves a pass or immunity. Now that we are clear, let’s put her on the chopping board shall we?
This outfit is wrong on so many levels! She looks more fresh off the jungle than fresh off the run-way. The head gear is so ugly! It reminds me of the movie 300 or some Roman king like way before Christ. The hair cut is too Shabaranks for my liking :(  The shoes…I mean c’mon Lupita! You can do better! Lastly, the fail definitely had to do with those dangling feathers and the matchy-matchy business going on with the whole ensemble.
This outfit needs to be given to Cher. She would effortlessly rock it. Lupita we love your style but this was a risk and a complete fashion fail.

The Come Back of Huddah Monroe

The girl that guys love to hate! Huddah is back on the social media streets ya’ll. According to her, she decided to come back due to public demand (her words). As happy as I was that she was back and that it was about time before she got into a tweef with someone this time the self proclaimed boss lady looks like she is not about that life.
I guess she was serious when she said that she does not want people to call her a socialite anymore because one day she will be called mommy and that she will conduct herself with good manners ..blah blah blah..let’s wait and see how long this will last though. We welcome her back.
